The World's best…
A century on from the very first Table Tennis World Championships in London, the world's superstars return in 2026 to the city where it all began. Witness the world’s elite players as they showcase their lightning-fast reflexes, breathtaking skill, and captivating athleticism in this exhilarating sport.
Working with Table Tennis England, Bluegreen have created the official logo and branding for this historic event. A strong identity capturing the essence of the sport and the unique character of the host city, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. With a nod to the iconic TFL brand colours of the London Underground, the logo adds a further element that thousands of fans from all over the world will become familiar with as it transports them between the two main competition venues - OVO Arena Wembley and Copper Box Arena at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The logo is supported by a comprehensive brand guidelines document detailing its use across a wide range of marketing, merchandise, venue dressing, sponsorship, and publicity.
Supporting materials, including templates for press and media packs, posters, advertising, and much, much more, were created in the run-up to the event to ensure brand consistency across all outputs.
"Bluegreen Design have created a powerful identity for an iconic event, capturing the dynamism of table tennis and reflecting the character of London as host city. As 2026 marks the centenary of the World Championships, it was important to combine traditional and fresh, modern elements. This identity does that to perfection."
Paul Stimpson, Senior Communications Officer, Table Tennis England
Bluegreen have also designed the 100-page official event programme. Packed with articles, features, and information about the event, the programme is a must-have souvenir for any visitor to the championships.
With such a global audience, social media has been key to publicising everything event-related - from ticket sales and team information, to countdowns and building anticipation. A comprehensive set of brand templates and social media assets has ensured that London 2026 has become a recognisable identity across the world of table tennis.
Keep up-to-date with everything from London 2026, and more via the TTE website and social media channels.
The huge global reach of the event is truly eye-watering, with viewing figures estimated at 750 million, with broadcasts to over 100 countries across nearly 30 networks.
A further 500 million online video views are predicted, via the World Table Tennis YouTube platform, and TalkSport's YouTube channel, amongst others.
The BBC will also be showing the semi-finals and finals via iPlayer on 9-10 May.
Throughout the countdown to the event, Bluegreen have created a wide variety of assets for the championship venues themselves. Ranging from A4 signage and posters, right up to graphics to cover the entire field of play areas for both venues, the London 2026 brand consistency has remained key.
