We recently produced the matchday programme for the England U20 v Italy U20 Six Nations Championship fixture on behalf of Bedford Blues.
The Blues’ home ground of Goldington Road welcomed a sellout 5,000 crowd on Friday 8 March to witness the next generation of England’s rugby stars in action.
Bedford Blues were chosen as one of the host clubs for England U20’s three home games during this year’s campaign, alongside Premiership clubs Exeter Chiefs and Northampton Saints.
Bluegreen worked with Bedford Blues to produced the matchday programme which included background information on the England U20 set up, player features, historical articles and interviews to support the fixture, alongside supporting graphics.
The event was a tremendous success as the huge crowd saw England U20 run out comfortable winners 35-10 over Italy on a damp evening.
With the game televised live on Sky Sports, it was a great showcase for Bedford Blues and also a fantastic opportunity for Bluegreen to be involved with an international fixture and to work with the RFU.
