Looking at healthy eating…

We were approached by Action for Children, a national children's charity following a recommendation from an existing client.

Our brief was to update the 'Eat better, start better' campaign and at the same time to apply the newly designed branding style for Action for Children.


A major part of the brief was to bring the content of the 'Eat better, start better' brochure to life, and to become more engaging than the old publication. The brochure gives practical advice about voluntary food and drink guidelines for Early Years settings in England.


It was agreed that we would create a bespoke set of illustrations that combined the brand style of black and white photographs with colourful illustrations. It is a much more fun and engaging way of conveying statistical information.


In addition to the main brochure, we also created a series of  brochures that communicate specific messages around the healthy eating theme.


The project has been received exceptionally well by the client and other recipients of the materials. We are currently working on a series of sales materials including point of sale and display banners.
